Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. (GETCO) is a leading ISO 9001:2008 State utility in Transmission Business having its Head Quarter at Vadodara. It has strong work force of 12,000 employees with its transmission net work spread over Gujarat State for power evacuation from generating stations and transmitting to DISCOMs.
As we are on high growth trajectory and need to strengthen our Civil & Finance Department, we invite self driven and result oriented professionals for the following positions.
1. Vidyut Sahayak ( Jr.Engineer – Civil ) :-
Qualification |
BE (Civil) - first class. (Passed in First attempt)
( 55% for SC/ST Candidates) |
Age |
Not more than 28 years (Five years relaxation for SC/ST Candidates) |
Fixed Remuneration per month |
1st year - Rs. 9000/-
2nd year - Rs.10000/-
No other allowance or benefit would be admissible except coverage under Personal Accident Policy, Reimbursement of TA/DA as per rules. |
Period of engagement |
Two years
On successful completion of two years as VS (JE), they shall be absorbed as Junior Engineer on regular establishment in the pay scale of Rs.17300 - 38610/-. |
2. Finance Executive :- Organizing finance and accounts activities as per procedure and process required under various statutory laws, maintaining cost accounting records etc. For commercial functions, knowledge and experience of Electricity Act, Regulatory matter, Electricity tariff etc. is preferred.

3. Structure Design Engineer :- To strengthen the Civil Structure Design activities for the buildings, towers and foundations.

M.Tech / BE (Civil) – First Class with specialization in Structure Designing |
Experience |
Minimum 8-10 year hands on experience of EHV Transmission Tower structure design and its Foundations with state of art software tools, Building design and Pile Foundation design. |
Age |
Not more than 35 years |
Remuneration |
40,000/- per month (consolidated). |
Contractual period |
Initially for a period of two years which may be extended for further period of one year on the basis of performance. |
4. Auto CAD Draughtsman :-
Qualification |
Diploma ( Civil / Electrical ) – First Class.
Having Certified Course of Auto CAD for the purpose of Electrical and Civil Engineering Drawings including Electrical Switchyard Layout Drawing, SLD, Control Relay Panels, ACDB / DCDB, Tower Structures, G.A., Foundations and Building plan and elevation with BOQ. (Higher qualification is also acceptable ) |

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in reputed organization |

Not more than 35 years |
Remuneration |
10,000/- per month (consolidated). |
Contractual period |
Initially for a period of two years which may be extended for further period of one year on the basis of performance. |
General:
- The above Positions Sr.No 2,3 & 4 are purely of contractual basis and does not confer any right for direct absorption on Regular Scale.
- The company reserves the right to short list and selects any candidate as per the requirement of the Company.
- The selection shall be purely on merits. Canvassing in any form will automatically disqualify the candidature.
- The candidates working in Govt. or Semi – Govt. Organization shall have to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned organization at the time of interview.
- Knowledge of computer & Gujarati language is must.
- The selection of VS(JE-Civil) shall be made as per Roster Policy.
